SECOND CHEF – £20,000 – £25,000

We are looking for a second chef to assist our head chef in creating, preparing, cooking and presenting innovative dishes.

We are an established family run Country Inn with a 60-seater restaurant, 30 covers in the bar areas and letting rooms.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, be well presented, have a passion for cooking fresh food and conversant with hygiene, health and safety and allergen legislation and enjoy working in a successful motivated team. Accommodation is not available with this position so access to transport is a necessity.

The position is a full-time role based on a 5-day week (weekends included) to cover the Head Chef on his days off and to work alongside him on the other days. We offer a very competitive salary albeit relevant to experience, 28 days paid holidays per annum and a work place pension. A training program should it be required, tailored to the individual.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow and the scope to develop your ideas.
